Saturday, 30 July at 19:00, Lechia Gdańsk gets visit from Wisła Kraków, in a match of the round number 3 Ekstraklasa.
Lechia was ranked 5th at the end of last season, four points behind the last place that went to European Cups. The current season began with a failure, Plock 1-2, match away, but that I had, with 66% possession and still led 1-0 in the 15th minute thanks to a goal scored by Paixao. In the second stage came in and the first points of Lechii, succeeded to 2-1 all a business trip, but this time in Leczna. Team goals were scored by Milos Krasic and Grzegorz Kuswik.
Wisła Kraków have had problems in the previous season, ranking in first place in Group play-off, with the best attack and the best defense. Now the 2016/2017 season started well, imposing 2-1 in the inaugural stage in front of Pogon thanks to goals scored by Pawel Brozek and Rafal Pietrzak. However, in the previous stage went to Gdynia, where they met the noupromovata Arka, before which gave the forfeit score, 0-3, receiving nearly empty space in each shot fired on goal.
Contrary to a similar start of the championship, I think it is a slight difference between the teams, with the added value of the Lechii. This together with the fact that Lechia got 4 points from the two previous duels of the championship and that is to play at home are factors that could weigh more in the game’s economy. Therefore, I think a win is a result Lechii Gdansk with a good chance of success, with players able to make a difference.
